Deal Desking

Desking is our specialty. Other vendors have been trying to add desking to their product for years. It is very difficult to implement a desking system that prices to the penny with your DMS system which is why so few companies have real desking capabilities. Several companies will say they have desking but when asked the tough questions they really do not.

Sales Department

Save-A-Deal is very easy to learn and use especially for Sale Persons who only has access to a limited part of the system. It primarily functions as a Lead Manager and Daily Work Plan for Sales Persons, organizing their day so management does not have to.

We added Menu selling features to Save-A-Deal over three years ago before it was popular to have a menu. The most important aspect of menus is the presentation or final output that is presented to the customer. We have the most professional looking color menu report on the market. Our Inventory Selection and Management features are so well implemented we sell it as a separate product. Finding Inventory in a DMS system can take as many as 20 clicks to specify all criteria and several screens and reports may have to be pulled. Some dealers print out a new list every day and leave it at the Sales Desk. Why go through the trouble of clicking 20 times to find a specific vehicle when you can make 4 clicks.

Inventory View and Search features:

A system is only as good as its reports which is why we have a wide variety that each gives insight into the inner workings of your dealership. In addition we make sure that the reports display statistically meaningful information so decisions that affect the dealership are not made based on the information on one deal.

Internet CRM Capabilities

The Internet is a very important aspect for a car dealership and as much as 10-40% of leads can originate from the internet. Save-A-Deal has a MailStation that distributes emails based on a variety of rules including round-robin, salesperson characteristics such as new/used, and by lead provider. This provides the only INTEGRATED Internet, Desking, and F&I Menu solution in the market place.

The MailStation supports the following:

  •   Lead Distribution by Round Robin, NewUsed, and Lead Provider.
  •   Supports XML and Plain Text Emails.
  •   Automatically creates a deal with the stock number of the vehicle and assigns it.
  •   Stress tested to handle 6000 leads per hour.
  •   Stores a copy of the original email in a Processed Folder for future reference.
  •   Reformats difficult to read XML messages into an easy to read mail message.
  •   Capability to Forward emails to Blackberries.

Drivers License Scanner

Drivers License Scanning is an important part of a Front-end DMS system. It provides a easy way to get every customer into the system along with correct address and personal information. This information is stored and available for retrieval whenever a deal is displayed.

The License Scanner supports the following:

  •   OCR processing of the leads address and birth date.
  •   Searching by any address, name, birth date, salesperson, or vehicle information.
  •   Ability to print Guest Sheets and the Drivers License image.
  •   Also allows the receptionist to sent messages to each salesperson.

DMS Integration

Integration with Inventory and Booked/Finalized Deals is a critical component of Save-A-Deal. We offer two-way integration minimizing retyping of deal information with ADP, Reynolds, and EDS. One way integration with UCS is supported on a limited basis through a daily administrative process.
